Torque
about it!
INMOCO offer NEMA 23, 34 and 42 frame motors providing holding torque up to 40 Nm. A selection of industry standard windings and standard options assure the best motor for your application.
The diverse offering of options include connections via flying leads or terminal board or MS connectors, splashproof enclosures, shaft keyways or flats, rear shaft extensions, various encoder options and bipolar or unipolar phase sequencing.
Unequalled in performance, Pacific Scientific hybrid step motors have the highest toque per frame size in the industry.
The key to excellence is an uncompromised magnetic circuit. First, couple high energy magnets to low loss, high grade steel laminations with optimum tooth designs. Then add high quality, double Class H insulated magnet wire and a narrow rotor-stator gap. All this in a rugged, space saving enclosure plus a host of options means industrial design, industrial quality and industrial performance.
Add SIGMAX™ technology for a 40% increase over our standard designs that already have the highest torque per frame size in the industry. In Sigmax construction, stator mounted samarium cobalt magnets concentrate magnetic flux at desired points between the rotor and the stator. This flux-focusing action results in significantly higher torque production.
Sigmax technology also provides the industry's highest torque to inertia ratios for unmatched acceleration. Acceleration up to 40% higher than the industry norm are common using Sigmax.
Specify these motors for those demanding applications that require exceptionally rapid start-stop and point to point positioning.
Complementing the hybrid stepper motors are constant speed synchronous motors which provide accurate, low speed bi-directional control. Operated from line voltage, with pull-out torque's up to 15.5Nm, they are often used rather than AC geared motors. Desired speed is obtained by gearing up or down from the synchronous speed.
